Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket... YaY ~ Its Friday!!! No big plans this weekend really ... Well actually, Im supposed to meet up with 2 of my friends from the Low Carb boards and were gonna go bowling. Stevie isnt so sure if she will be able to make it yet ... so we might have to postpone. Aside from that ... no plans. Maybe it'll be pretty weather and I'll be able to go to the pool for a while. I need sun!!!! lol ...

Well, yesterday went pretty good ... no major complaints. Until this mornin at 4am that is! I woke up and I was hungry (uh-oh, not a good thing) I grabbed the cereal box and ate a bit of Special K (dry, no milk) ... I was hungry and I didnt have any chicken, or eggs, or ... anything else that was 'grab'able' at 4 in the morning! Thats the first time since Ive been on this diet its happened.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket ...Weighed in this morning ... was still at 181 ... still in my stand still. But then again, what do I expect when Im eating cereal at 4 in 'tha morning ~ lol. Im such a nerd!

Im gonna try something new this weekend. When i wake up Saturday and Sunday Im gonna get on the treadmill first thing before breakfast ... I hear thats really really supposed to help. I suppose I'll find out. I've gotta get over this slump Im in ... I had a hard time gettin past this last time as well. Maybe Im just doomed to weight 180.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket ... My dad got me some Whey Protein Powder. Only 2 carbs per drink so Im gonna try that. Tryin to change my protein/calories around ~ plus tryin to build mopre muscle so maybe this will help. I think Im able to see a slight change in myself as far as apparence's go ... but, not near like I wanna be seeing when I look in the mirror. As they all say ... didnt put it on over night ... not gonna lose it over night. How true that statement is!

I think I will just sleep till Im a size 10 ... Will someone please wake me when I reach my goal?? (All that know me know I would have *no* problem with that as much as I like to sleep!!! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Err, doesnt look like Im very good with this whole blog thing huh!!! How many days has it been since my last entry?!? =[



So, the scale at it lowest so far (at 2 am after a long night of sweating, dancing, and singing karaoke) has said 178. How nice that was for a brief second. Every mornin since then Ive been averaging between 180 and 182. Not too bad I dont suppose. Im not sure that Im giving it my all, so thats something Im gonna be working on. We've only got 17 more days before the cruise and Im tryin to get around 175 before leaving. I've had hard times before gettin out of the 180's ... seems like thats my sticking place. So, Im gonna work harder and maybe I will be able to do it. Doing weights with my dad 3 days a week ... and on the treadmill 6x's a week. Normally while on the t'mill I walk alittle over 1 mile after my cool down ... so thats 6 miles a week. Granted, thats not wonderful, I know some people do that in one day ... but hey, Im trying! I think Im starting to see a bit of the weight loss in my face, and I beleive my shirts are starting to fit a bit better. Considering how large I am up top ... Ive always had to stretch my shirts before puttin them on ... and, I dont find myself doin that as often, so thats pretty cool. My face and my mid section is really where I'd like to lose from. But then again ... wouldnt we all!!!! ;)

Thinking about adding CLA into my plan. Seems a lot of people are seeing some pretty good results with the help of it. Im not taking my Phen anymore. Mainly cuz I dont have the money to go back and get it ... but, sometimes Im not too sure about that stuff. It takes my appetite away so I find myself eating hardly nothing at all ... and that might be the way some people try and lose weight, but, not me!!! lol ...

New Day, New Blog ...


So, Ive seen so many other people doing this whole blog thing ... and everything I've read has said to write down this, write down that ... So, wth, Im gonna give it a try.

Well I decided at the start of this month I was really gonna try and get some weight off. I, for whatever reason, stepped on the scales only to think they were lying to me ... stupid thing ~ lol. But after a 2nd try, I came to terms with the dang thing being right. (err) 191 is what it told me. Thats 7 lbs heavier than I was when I *attempted* to diet back in March, before my dad went in for his heart surgery. Spending everyday in the hospital for 3 weeks totally got me off track. So, Im back again. After seeing my numbers, I decided I had to do something. I at the first of the month was just basiclly trying to watch was I was eating ... no set routine ~ aside from going to the gym. I then came across the Kimkins diet and though, 'well, I could try this. Seems as tho people are having some pretty good success with it' ... after reading up on it ... I went over to the Dr Atkins webpage and did a bit of checking up on his diet ... and decided thats what I would go with. So my new WOE is a bit kimkins/dr atkins.

Since Ive started ... Ive gone down to 182.2. I personally havent seen a difference, nor noticed a difference in my clothes so Im sure its just water ... although last night at the bowling alley I did have someone say they could tell I had lost some weight. Man, I tell ya ... thats so awesome to hear!!! :)

Our cruise is coming up August 19th and I really dont want to look like a beached whale ~ lol. Im thinking I should step it up a bit on my treadmill and such (right now Im gettin in anywhere from 25-45 minutes a day on the t'mill ... and about an hr at the gym 3 times a week.) Im pretty hard on myself at times and Im totally afraid of failing at this ... talk about sending someone to the dumps ... man, that would suck!!! =[

Breakfast ~ Egg Beaters and 2 Canadian Bacon Rounds.

Lunch ~ Shrimp and small salad

Dinner ~ Large salad and 1 slice of cheese pizza (I know I know, its not on the diet ANYWHERE, but its what my dad and I always do on Tuesday nights)

Snack ~ (if any) Small bowl of low carb ice cream. (about 1/2 a cups worth)
